Chicago, IL – November 7, 2022 - This holiday season, United Way of Metro Chicago, in partnership with local community organizations, will once again host Uniting for the Holidays, a festive, drive-through event supporting eight suburban communities from mid-November to mid-December. Thousands of families across the region will receive a meal and gifts that will brighten their holiday.
Meeting our neighbors’ most basic needs, such as food security, is a key part of United Way’s approach to building a stronger, more equitable region. Last year, more than 3,000 families received holiday meals and more than 1,500 toys, stuffed animals, books and wellness resources were distributed.
