On January 15, Chef Maya-Camille Broussard, star of the Netflix series Bake Squad, author, and owner of Chicago bakery Justice of the Pies, joined us for a virtual conversation celebrating her story and her success. Martin Luther King Jr. envisioned a world where Black entrepreneurs had equal opportunity for economic prosperity. Maya-Camille embodies this vision while lifting her community, fighting against food apartheid, and investing in Chicago’s South Side. As a person with a disability, she also inspires that anything is possible.

As Black History Month begins, join us on Friday, February 2 at 12:00PM (CST) as we rebroadcast the virtual conversation.
