IGNITE is a festive, mid-winter party bringing together Chicago area VIPs and young professionals for an evening of live music, dancing , hors d’oeuvres and cocktails—all to raise funds to support United Way's workforce development efforts to provide our neighbors with critical access to job training and placement.

United Way of Metro Chicago's United Pride once again hosted a float in this year's 50th Annual Chicago Gay Pride Parade. Over 100 United Way employees, United Pride members, friends and family came out to march with us!

United Way of Metro Chicago’s 2019 Stronger Neighborhoods Awards Luncheon recognized three of the Chicago region’s most dynamic philanthropic leaders, representing United Way individual, corporate and community partners who exemplify what it means to LIVE UNITED.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our 2019 April Food Day! The annual food collection event and awards luncheon addresses food insecurity in the south-southwest suburbs, a region that is home to the fastest growing population of people living at or below the poverty line.

Thank you to everyone who came out to dance the night away and celebrate with us on February 22 at The Dalcy. Together, we raised over $90,000 to support United Way's AmeriCorps Members' important work driving change in eight of our Neighborhood Network communities
