Thank you to everyone who joined us for our 2019 April Food Day! The annual food collection event and awards luncheon addresses food insecurity in the south-southwest suburbs, a region that is home to the fastest growing population of people living at or below the poverty line.
United Way of Metro Chicago’s 2019 Stronger Neighborhoods Awards Luncheon recognized three of the Chicago region’s most dynamic philanthropic leaders, representing United Way individual, corporate and community partners who exemplify what it means to LIVE UNITED.
United Way of Metro Chicago’s United Pride once again hosted a float in this year’s 50th Annual Chicago Gay Pride Parade. Over 100 United Way employees, United Pride members, friends and family came out to march with us!
Thank you to all our partners who contributed to the 2nd Annual United for the Holidays Family Resource Fair. With your support we were able to collect 350 coats, 700 books, 300 toys, and 1,000 warm weather items for children and families in the Evanston community.
