United Way of Metro Chicago is proud to launch the United Neighborhoods Equity Fund (UNEF) to support Black and brown-led nonprofits with a $50,000 grant over a two-year cycle, a capacity-building curriculum, education, networking, and introduction to prospective funders. This two-year, cohort based program will support leaders of community-based organizations (with budgets of <$1M) serving the communities aligned with the United Way Neighborhood Network Initiative.

Applications for the UNEF must be submitted by August 15, 2021 and grantees will be notified by August 23, 2021. The grant cycle officially begins on September 1, 2021.
