April Food Day

April Food Day is United Way of Metro Chicago’s annual food drive and awards luncheon that addresses food insecurity in the south-southwest suburbs, a region facing high levels of poverty and systemic education, health and wealth inequities that were amplified by COVID-19. BACK-TO-SCHOOL SUPPLY DRIVE

Leverage our School Supply Pack & Learn opportunity to help our community partners at Greater Auburn-Gresham Development Corporation and WeGo Together For Kids provide essential school supplies to students for the upcoming school year. This opportunity is available from June through early August to ensure that supplies are ready for the first day of school. Check back in Spring 2022 for more information and to sign up to participate in the back-to-school supply drive.

9/11 SERVICE EVENT

Join United Way of Metro Chicago for an Annual Day of Service and Reflection on September 11 to honor those who lost their lives and the first responders who risked their well-being to help others. We will identify the community project prior to the event date. Check out our previous 9/11 service events and register for upcoming events on our 9/11 Day of Service event page.
